The United States Association for Young Physicists Tournaments (USAYPT) held its 3rd annual US Invitational Young Physicists Tournament 6-7 February 2009 at Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Virginia.  This year's teams were from the Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Brisbane, Australia; the Harker School, San Jose, California; Gymnasium Jura Hronek, Bratislava, Slovak Republic; Oak Ridge High School, Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Raffles Institution, Singapore; Rye Country Day School, Rye, New York; the Wildwood School, Los Angeles, California; and the Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Virginia.
