How do you get started?

well... let's get the basic ideas in front of us:

1. -- you as a high school physics teacher are going to form a research group with your interested students
and you as the research advisor investigating some problems whose answers you probably do not know,
i.e., "good" education

2. -- your group needs some "good" problems to research that require all the pieces of the research process and are "do-able" by you and your students

3. -- your group needs to present your results at a "good conference" for peer-review, and have some
Fiziks Phyun with other folks who like to do this from around the planet

The USAYPT provides #2 and #3 so that you can achieve #1. It's that simple.

Achieving all of this will take a lot of work, but this is the classic "the destination is more important than the journey" exercise. Everyone is going to make mistakes, but welcome to research where the motto is "Make Your Mistakes Faster"...The USAYPT is there to help.

Almost everyone who has tried this loves it,

so let's get you and your students started.
