OPENING &
CHALLENGE

The second phase of the OPPONENT's work is to make a short presentation to both the Reporter and the Jury.

The Opponent's presentation should address both the positive as well as the negative aspects of both the theoretical and the experimental parts of the Report.

In many ways, the Jury will be looking to see if the Opponent saw the same things the Jury saw in the Report.

The Opponent team has 4 minutes to prepare this report and it takes teamwork to make that deadline.

OPPONENT
PRESENTATION

The Opponent has UP TO an additional 5 minutes to make their presentation.

The caveat here is that the total amount of time for the Opponent Presentation AND the following oral discussion with the Reporter is 12 minutes.

Clearly, use of presentation graphics, clarity, and brevity help save more time for the oral discussion that follows.
OPPONENT &
REPORTER
DISCUSSION
The Reporter team should be working very hard during this presentation collecting their thoughts and preparing their Reporter for the debate that follows.
